Data Collection & Usage

Our website is relatively simple and we don’t collect much information about you. See below two types of data collected: personal data and anonymous information.

Personal data

We collect and record the personal data you provide through the contact us form.

This website is owned by thegreenwork.space/Ridgeway , and we are the data controller. We control all data in the UK. We will only process personal data for the reasons explained and by no means will we share or transfer any information that we collect to third parties.

What data do we need to collect from you?

The contact form allows you to contact us and for us to respond to you in the best way. Depending on what you would like to discuss, your message will be sent to the relevant thegreenwork.space/Ridgeway  staff member. So that we can provide you with the best possible response we will need to collect some personal info from you. This includes; your full name, company name, email address and phone number. More details can be found below.

Why do we need this data?

  • Full name: Your full name is required as part of contacting us, so we are able to respond to your message (and use your name!).
  • Email address: We require your email address so we can reply to your query.
  • Phone number: Providing your phone number is optional, but it's a lot easier if you do so we have another way of getting in touch in case we need to understand your requirements in more detail.
  • Company name: Providing your company name is optional, but it helps us to give you a better response to your query.
  • Message: We provide this field for you to add a message so we can understand what your query is and respond in the best way possible.

We require the above information to respond to your query, without it it would be very difficult to get back to you! Your data won't be used for any other purposes beyond those explained above.

How long will we store your data?

We will keep hold of your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the query. Once the query has been completed, we will delete it.

Anonymous information

The website collects anonymous information relating to the way you use our site. This is done using a little piece of code within every page which is provided by Google Analytics. This is a widely used website analytics service which allows us to learn (amongst other things) how people are finding our site, which pages are the most popular and which pages we could improve. Most importantly, we cannot (and don’t want to) identify you or collect your contact information using this method. We just know the IP address (a number) of your computer or network.

Cookies

Like many websites, ours uses cookies to deliver the best browsing experience for you. You don’t have to accept the use of these (you can switch them off in your browser settings if you really want to), but we don’t recommend it because you’ll find our site and many others don’t work as well without them. The cookies on our website only exist to allow it to function to its full potential, they don’t record or track anything to do with your personal information. You can read more about how we use cookies on our site in our Cookie Policy.

Want to know more or remove your data from our database?

We’re happy to tell you anything you want to know about how our website works. You're the data provider so you're entitled to ask us to withdraw your consent for us to process your data, change the data we hold for you, view it or have it deleted it from our database. Just contact us at hello@ridgeway.com  and we’ll get it done.

By providing your data, you agree that Ridgeway  can process this data as stated in the details for each form. Have any concerns? Contact our Quality Manager via hello@ridgeway.com.

If you are unhappy about the way we have used your data, just let us know or you can raise your concerns with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
